About Me
My journey into design began during my sophomore year at Miami University while pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering with the goal of becoming a developer. However, in my junior year, I took an Introduction to User Experience course that sparked my interest. This class introduced me to the fundamentals of wireframing, prototyping, and design principles, and I quickly realized that UX design offered a perfect balance between development and creativity. While I remained intrigued by
web development, UX design allowed me to apply my technical knowledge in a more creative and user-centered way. This initial course was just the beginning—throughout the remainder of my studies, I immersed myself in UX design, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experience that shaped my educational journey at Miami University.
After completing my education, I began my career as a UI/UX Designer at Organized Living. This role was an invaluable learning experience that provided deep insight into the professional world of design and the impact of user-centered thinking. More recently, I had the incredible opportunity to transition into Freelance Web Design. This journey has been both rewarding and insightful, allowing me to build brands and collaborate closely with clients to bring their visions to life. Working with a diverse range of clients has provided invaluable lessons that continue to shape my approach to design. Design has been a passion of mine for years, and it is truly fulfilling to turn that passion into both a career and a personal business.
